Spirit Of Hope

Yes, everyone’s going bananas over the big DC announcements today (Reboot: whatever. Day and date digital: now you’re talking).

Meanwhile, I’m more concerned with this:

Above and below, you can see the two covers on offer for Spirit Of Hope, a Japan/New Zealand charity anthology from (mostly) UK talents, made by the Comic Book Alliance over there. Top cover by Mike Allred (Madman, X-Statix), bottom cover by Jimmy Broxton (Knight and Squire). Amidst a whole host of people I like and are more talented than I am, I have a 2-page story with 2000AD veteran Henry Flint called “Haiku,” and it was an astonishing bit of luck to be able to do this with him, and do it for this book.

Please have a look, and please consider ordering one for a very good cause.

[On that note: If you ordered comics from me recently, my apologies, they will be coming soon. Much to do and not always mindful of the need to get them out.]
